Better Government Association

Better Government Association

The BGA works for integrity, transparency, and accountability in government by exposing corruption and inefficiency; identifying and advocating effective public policy; and engaging and mobilizing the electorate to achieve authentic and responsible reform.

Sheila Weinberg, CEO and founder of The Institute for Truth in Accounting, recently appeared on a panel discussion on public pension governance with Robert Reed, Director of Investigations at BGA, at an event co-hosted with DePaul University's Center for Financial Service.  The event was entitled: "Who's Afraid of Good Governance? State Fiscal Crises, Public Pension Underfunding, and the Resistance to Governance Reform."   BGA's coverage of the event is available here.
